RED GOLD and WQME are sponsoring the “Healthy Holiday Cooking School” on Thursday, October 29, as a fundraiser for the Madison County 4-H Association. All the proceeds from the sale of tickets will go to the Association to provide programs to enhance the quality of life for the youth of our community. The Cooking School will be held at the Farm Bureau Building on the 4-H fairgrounds in Alexandria, IN, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
The Masters of Ceremonies for the evening will be Paul Poteet, Indianapolis Channel 6, WRTV, Weatherman and Matt Rust, WQME Radio Personality. Demonstrating a variety of holiday ideas and recipes will be Owner/Chef Tony Huelster from Bonge’s Tavern, Fun Recipe with the Gang of 3 and a 4-H student.
As you arrive you will be given a bag filled with various items donated by community businesses. Throughout the evening door prizes will be given to those in attendance. The doors open at 5:30 PM so come early and visit the various booths offering give always and sampling. Tickets are only $8.00 and are available from Ousely’s Harvest Gardens on St Rd 9 in Alexandria, Jan’s Cake & Candy on North Broadway in Anderson Good's Candy on West 53rd Street in Anderson and Moneyhun’s Fine Gifts on West 8th Street in Anderson, call 765-641-9514 or email jdorff@purdue.edu to reserve your ticket.
